Birds




Birds is a unique book made from a Japanese metal etching (I turn most everything I find into a book). The etching is revealed as the 3 fold panels are opened with a delightful Lord Baron poem before the full reveal. The etching is on copper with other metals electroplated for the other colors. I found this piece at a year sale! A separate 4 page signature that contains the colophon accomplices the Birds book and together they come in a deluxe matching clamshell case covered with suede leather-like material with pull ribbon for easy removal of books. The case is 4.5" x 5.5" x 1.25", Birds is 2.5" x 3". One-of-a-kind. SOLD
