THE NARROWS
The canyon zig-zaged for miles walling in the summer stream. It feels good walking in the cool water, sometimes knee high, sometimes waist deep. Around the bends here and there are sand and rock drifts supporting hardy vegetation. I feel at ease in this quiet and peaceful place.
