The Train Game - Book of the Months - Nov & Dec
You have probably seen this book before. People seem to fall in love with the unusual, but very appropriate structure and the charming story about two college girls who hopped a freight train in the late 60's. The availability of this limited edition of 50 is down to the last handful. So if you have been wanting it, now is the time to order it! And shipping (US) is free until Dec 31. By the way, the price will be going up (if there are any left) on Jan 1st.
Two girls hopped a ride on the midday freight train for an adventure riding the rails, but they had to be back home by dinner time or face parental wrath. The Train Game is a true story of two adventurous friends who thought riding the rails would make a good story for their college literary magazine. This book unfolds to 80 inches of train on one side and the story with photos of the experience on the inside. A real model train track is embedded on the front cover. All images are Giclée printed on Hahnemühle linen, the text is printed on Fox River Confetti, and the panels are hinged with acrylic stained Tyvek. Comes with matching clamshell case. Closed size is 3.5” x 10” x 1”. Edition of 50. Book price with clamshell case is $395. Will invoice libraries or take PayPal.
The DREMEL STORE is now open for business!
I found when teaching The Amazing Dremel class there were some common bits and attachments that artists needed and /or found useful. Many of these items were only available in larger kits or not locally available at all. Trying to fill this need is the idea behind the Dremel Store at Mystical Places Press.__________________________________________
